On Dated 21-09-2021, Haryana Staff Selection Commission published a Public Notice regarding Normalization in HSSC. Various Type of Exams of Group B, C & D Posts conducted by HSSC. Sometimes Due to large no. of applicants, Examinations are conducted in multiple shifts because of difficulty in getting adequate number of examination centres for conduct the examination in a single shift.
When Exam conducted in multiple shifts, then there is single cut off marks for all the shifts. Many candidates demand on social media that there is different levels of difficulty in different shifts so there will be different cut off marks according to the difficulty in various shifts.
Now, Haryana Staff Selection Commission has decided to normalise the scores of candidates for the examinations which are conducted in different shift. HSSC will adopt normalization procedure based on percentile method on the advice of Indian Statistical Institute Delhi.
The Scale of marks for each candidate in each shift is transformed into one common uniform scale from 0 to 100. After scaling all the shifts, all the files of different shifts will be combine into single file and records are sorted in decreasing order. Rank Method will be used on the records after sorting.
